Privacy Policy

Crewlap is built to need as little of your data as possible. There is no sign-up, email, password, advertising, or tracking.

Data that stays on your device

Your profile (nickname, avatar, weekly goal), workouts, reminders, and challenges are stored on your iPhone. If you never create or join a crew, none of it leaves your device.

Data we store when you use crews

Creating or joining a crew creates an anonymous account identified by a random ID. We store: your nickname, avatar emoji and color; your crew memberships; workouts you log from the past 14 days onward (activity type, duration, effort, start time, local day and time-zone offset, optional note, points); kudos you give; reports you file; and members you block. We store only a cryptographic hash of your device token. Crewmates can see your nickname, avatar, workouts, notes, and kudos for crews you share.

Apple Health

If you turn on Apple Health import, Crewlap reads workouts only (type, start time, duration, and active energy to estimate effort). It does not read heart rate, location, or any other Health data, and never writes to Health. Health data is not used for advertising or sold, and is shared with crewmates only as the workout summary above.

Purchases

Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not receive your payment details.

Service providers

The crew service runs on Cloudflare (Workers and D1) in data centers that may be outside your country. We have no analytics or advertising SDKs.

Retention and deletion

Use Profile > Delete account and data to permanently delete your server account, memberships, workouts, kudos, and reports you filed, and erase the app's data on your device. Leaving a crew removes your membership. Abuse reports about you are kept until reviewed, then deleted.

Children

Crewlap is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Your rights

You can export your data (Profile > Export my data) and delete it at any time. For other requests, including under GDPR or CCPA, email privacy@crewlap.app or use the support form. Crewlap is operated by Remodeled AI, LLC.

Changes

We'll post updates here and change the effective date. Material changes will be noted in the app.
